As I’ve mentioned before this is my first foray into the blogsphere in a while. Though it is an exciting time, it’s rather daunting since my last foray contained little more than my own personal life.
So this time, my goal is provide snippets of my journey in the Japanese martial art of Aikido. A bit of background of myself: I have been practicing Aikido for a total of 3 and a half years – two of which were in university and one and half at the current dojo that I frequent 5 times a week.
If you have comments or questions – or if you are a fellow aspiring aikidoist yourself – don’t hesitate to chat and I will respond in the best way I can.
Ni hao,
Welcome back to blog world. Blogging is like Aikido, the first throw is hard to get a feel for it, it takes practice and feeling, letting the flow happen. (^_^)
Aikido is a cool art, if I was younger I would have gone for it as my Japanese senior path art instead of Kyudo. These days I do not like being thrown around so much.
Your Aikido time is about the same as my Kyudo time, it will be interesting seeing your journey if they parallel. My Kyudo Sensei has a San-Dan in Aikido.
Best wishes, train well.
I just wanted to mention I quoted you in a post on my blog. Just FYI. If you have any concerns, let me know!
